Ryan's commitment to growing our economy and helping job creators has earned him the consistent support of the state's leading organizations who fight for the men and women who run our job-creating small businesses: the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) and the PA Chamber of Business and Industry.

With a proven focus on improving Pennsylvania's tax climate, Ryan was the prime sponsor of legislation that was called "The Most Significant Tax Reform In 20 Years" by PA CPA Journal. This law modernized the state's tax code, made our business taxes more competitive with other states, and even eliminated the inheritance tax on small family businesses.

Ryan's efforts to help create jobs and grow our economy go far beyond tax reform though.  Other highlights of his time as Representative include supporting affordable job training and career and technical education to ensure a skilled workforce, reducing over-regulation, creating a Made in PA/USA program, and promoting infrastructure improvements and increased access to rural broadband. He also authored bipartisan legislation that requires the use of E-Verify to ensure that only people legally allowed to work in the U.S. are hired in the construction industry.

When we return him to Harrisburg, Ryan will continue to fight for the same commonsense, pro-growth policies that unleash the power of entrepreneurs and the free market all across Pennsylvania - to spark new job growth that helps hard-working, middle class families.  Of course, he will also fight against "progressive" initiatives that unfairly demonize the job-creating small business owners who drive our economy.
