Ryan knows that being our Representative is about more than passing laws in Harrisburg, it's about addressing issues that are important to our local communities - and that is something he is doing every day.
For Ryan, it starts with providing excellent constituent services that steer residents through the maze of government and gets them the help they need.
Addressing local issues also means helping keep our families and neighborhoods safe places to live and work. That's why Ryan has always supported our police, fire, and EMTs with important funding so they have the resources needed to do their jobs and help keep us safe. He also supports efforts to end Sanctuary Cities so illegal immigrants who have committed crimes are taken off the streets.
In addition, Ryan works to get back our fair share from government - to address local infrastructure needs and support local community improvement projects that benefit all taxpayers.
And when something comes up that needs legislative attention, Ryan takes action. For example he wrote a new law that exempts Volunteer Fire & Rescue Companies across the state from paying realty transfer taxes - an issue that came to his attention when a local fire company, that was consolidating to save money, sold a property but was then hit with a tax bill.
