Ryan knows that being our State Representative is about more than passing laws in Harrisburg, it's about addressing issues that important to our local communities - and that's something he is doing every day.
For Ryan, it starts with providing excellent constituent services that steer residents through the maze of state government and gets them the help they need.
Addressing local issues also means helping keep our families and neighborhoods safe places to live and work. That's why Ryan has always supported our police, fire, and EMTs with important funding so they have the resources needed to do their jobs and help keep us safe. He also supported efforts to end Sanctuary Cities so illegal immigrants who have committed crimes are taken off the streets.
Ryan also works to get back our fair share from Harrisburg - to address local infrastructure needs and support local projects like parks and fields.
And when something comes up that needs legislative attention, Ryan takes action. For example he wrote a new law that exempts Volunteer Fire & Rescue Companies across the state from paying realty transfer taxes - an issue that came to his attention when a local fire company, that was consolidating to save money, sold a property but was then hit with a tax bill.
For his work in the state legislature, Ryan has been recognized by local fire and police organizations.
